 Alexandria-Mount Vernon Chapter of Jack and Jill of America\, Inc. have au
 thored "Survival Secrets of Middle School\," an anthology of essays\, base
 d on their own experiences. In this way\, the authors hope to help other y
 oung people who are currently in this phase of life. The topics covered ar
 e as diverse as the adolescents who wrote them. From managing lockers to b
 ullying to approaching teachers\,  the local teen writers  will share thei
 r unique perspectives on this challenging time of life and share "secrets"
  that helped them persevere. The proceeds of the sale of this book will be
