DESCRIPTION:GSK Science in the Summer\n\nJoin Alexandria Library at Beatley
  Central this summer for a fun and free science education program that hel
 ps elementary school children "grow into science." Taught by certified tea
 chers\, this program gets kids excited about studying science with hands-o
 n experiments. \n\nThe 2015 GSK Science in the Summer program\, in partner
 ship with the American Association for the Advancement of Science\, will i
 ntroduce students entering second through sixth grade to Chemistry through
  interesting investigations that will allow them to explore physical and c
 hemical changes\, learn about "matter\," make crystals\, and determine if 
 liquids are acids\, bases\, or neutrals.\n\nRegister at the library\n\nReg
 istration open until all spaces are filled. Space is limited. Classes are 
 offered at two levels: Level I is for 2nd-3rd graders and Level II for 4th
 -6th graders.\n\nStarting on Wednesday\, July 1\, register in person at th
 e Youth Services Desk at Beatley Central Library\, 5005 Duke Street\, Alex
