 invites members of the public to attend the fourth Green Building Workshop
 .  This  workshop is devoted entirely to historic buildings and ways to im
 prove energy efficiency without compromising the historic fabric.  Represe
 ntatives from the local green building movement will be there\, highlighti
 ng some of Alexandria's "green" preservation projects\, as well as the Nat
 ional Trust for Historic Preservation\, who will highlight how the two - g
 reen building and historic preservation - can go hand-in-hand.  Also\, you
 'll learn about some of the inherent environmentally friendly aspects of h
 istoric properties and how to make historic properties even more energy ef
