 sion of a two-session course which is an introductory class to genealogy e
 ntitled "Putting the Family Together and Organizing Your Family History." 
 In the first session of the course\, you will learn how to research and or
 ganize the paternal and maternal branches of your family tree. It will als
 o cover preserving and protecting family heirlooms.  The second session wi
 ll focus on each student's family history and a review of each person's fa
 mily pedigree chart.  \n\nChar McCargo Bah is the CEO/Owner of FindingThin
 gsforU\, LLC.  A genealogist since 1981\, she is sought after for her expe
 rtise\, having been interviewed for numerous television shows and document
 aries\, including those produced for CBS\, FOX-5\, Comcast\, and PBS. She 
 has also received numerous awards for her work and was named a Living Lege
 nd in Alexandria\, Virginia in 2014. McCargo Bah served as the official ge
 nealogist for the Office of Historic Alexandria's work in identifying desc
 endants of those buried at the city's Contrabands and Freedmen Cemetery. S
 he is co-author of African Americans of Alexandria\, VA: Beacons of Light
