 landBuck will speak about the artist team's public artwork Tunnel Vision r
 ealized for the new WMATA (or Metro) office building in Alexandria\, VA th
 at officially opened last fall.\n\nSuspended from the ceiling and position
 ed in the southwest corner of the building's lobby\, Tunnel Vision can be 
 experienced from the lobby\, the street\, and the adjacent plaza. From eac
 h of these viewpoints\, the artwork alludes to the Metro stations in drama
 tically different ways: from the side as a convex object that loosely evok
 es the coffered stations and Metro's gridded logo\, and from below as a co
 ncave volume making the station clearly visible and emphasizing its dramat
 ic one-point perspective.\n\nThe event is jointly hosted by the Washington
  Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)'s Art in Transit Program and 
 the City of Alexandria's Office of the Arts.\n\nLocation: WMATA Offices @

 e installation at Waterfront Park. Nekisha will share a presentation about
  some of her past projects such as Queen City in Arlington and Airshaft at
  the Phillips Collection. \n\nSince launching in 2019 in the new Waterfron
 t Park\, the Site See series continues to surprise and attract visitors fr
 om throughout the region and beyond. Nekisha is the 7th artist in the seri
