From eac h of these viewpoints\, the artwork alludes to the Metro stations in drama tically different ways: from the side as a convex object that loosely evok es the coffered stations and Metro's gridded logo\, and from below as a co ncave volume making the station clearly visible and emphasizing its dramat ic one-point perspective.\n\nThe event is jointly hosted by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)'s Art in Transit Program and the City of Alexandria's Office of the Arts.\n\nLocation: WMATA Offices @ 2401 Mill Road\, Alexandria\, VA 22314\n\nAbout FreelandBuck:\n\nFreelandB uck is both an artistic collaboration and an architectural practice.
