  her infant son and her own life at the young age of 39 in what is now Gad
 sby's Tavern Museum. Learn about phantasmagoria\, a terrifying stage effec
 t used during Warren's life\, and see if you can spot the phantasmagoria e
 ffects used in the short silent film\, Frankenstein (1910). \n\nCost is $3

  Civil War-era Union Santa Claus\, based on an 1863 cover of Harper's Week
 ly by artist Thomas Nast\, who will interact with the public\, welcome chi
 ldren to the reconstructed Officers' Hut\, and visit soldiers in camp.  Re
 enactors will interpret army life in winter camps that are decorated for t
 he season\, and celebrate by opening Christmas boxes from home\, singing c
 arols of the period around the campfire\, and preparing holiday meals.  Th
 e Museum will be decorated with festive greenery and a Victorian parlor tr
 ee.  Children can make a holiday card or ornament.  A variety of Civil War
