 vin Moriarty\, who will portray a Union army veteran reminiscing about hi
 s military service at Fort Ward during the Civil War.   Participants will
  learn about the history of Fort Ward\, army life in the Civil War Defens
 es of Washington\, and the design and construction of Civil War forts.   
 Highlights include the reconstructed Officers' Hut and ceremonial entranc
 e gate\, and the fort's fully restored Northwest bastion.\n\n\n\nLocation
