 onwide count conducted each year to identify the number of  adults and fa
 milies experiencing homelessness within a particular jurisdiction.  The p
 urpose of the count is to assist in developing services and resources to 
 assist the homeless population and to ultimately end homelessness.   DCHS
  Staff\, City Police\, City Fire/EMS and other community volunteers will 
 work collaboratively to outreach the homeless population within the city.
   The goal will be to engage\, provide information about services and gat
 her needed data.  Outreach volunteers and donations are needed!  If you a
 re interested in volunteering and/or donating items for this outreach eff
 ort to be distributed to those experiencing homelessness\; the following 
 items would be greatly appreciated: gently used sleeping bags\, blankets\
 , coats\, hats\, gloves and/or new socks.  If you are interested in volun
