Celebrate women and learn about issues important to women and girls in your community at this special event! Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies wi ll participate in hands-on activities and a service project. They will l earn about programs helping women today in our community and talk with a panel of Girl Scouts and discover how scouting empowered them. Girls and adults will add their own future goals to a timeline of Juliette Gordon Low's story and participate in a service project helping women. \nThis p rogram is geared toward Girl Scout Brownies and older Girl Scout Daisies\ , ages 6 and up. Girls and adults will be divided into small groups to v isit activity stations during this program\; larger troops may be subdivi ded into different groups. Participants will be asked to bring an item t o donate to the Alexandria Domestic Violence Safehouse\; a list of sugges ted items will be provided before the event.
