  Alexandria will convene to hear complaints of inequalities wherein the p
 roperty owners allege a lack of equity or uniformity in assessment\, erro
 rs in fact in such real estate assessments\, or that the real property as
 sessment is not assessed at fair market value. Upon hearing such complain
 ts\, the Board is legally authorized to INCREASE\, DECREASE OR AFFIRM suc
 h real estate assessments.\n\nParticipants can attend via Zoom Webinar or
  in person in room 3008\, City Hall\, 301 King Street\, Alexandria\, VA. 
  The 2024 hearing dates were previously advertised. The office has added 
 the following date:\n\nApril 1st\, 2025 - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.\n\nThe deadli
 ne for filing an appeal was June 3\, 2024\, however\, this appeal deadlin
 e is not applicable to appeals of assessments for newly constructed real 
 estate pursuant to Virginia Code 59.1-3292.\n\nDockets for each hearing m
