 y\, Jr.\, Central Library. The City of Alexandria hosts the annual ceremo
 ny as part of the weeklong commemoration of the national Days of Remembra
 nce\, Sunday\, April 12 through Sunday\, April 19. This is the 37th year 
 the city will hold the Days of Remembrance ceremony. The event is free an
 d open to the public. In case of inclement weather\, the ceremony will be
  held in the Conference Room of the Charles E. Beatley\, Jr.\, Central Li
 brary. \n\nDuring the ceremony\, Mayor Alyia Gaskins and local dignitarie
 s will light a candelabrum that the late Holocaust survivor Charlene Schi
 ff and her husband\, Ed\, donated to the city. The 54-inch high\, solid b
 rass candelabrum was donated in memory of Charlene Schiff's parents and s
 ister\, and the six million Jews and millions of others who perished in t
 he Holocaust. The Schiff candelabrum is also made available to schools an
