 ed by Dr. Maulana Karenga in 1966\, Kwanzaa is the 7 day African American
  festival that celebrates culture\, family and community from December 26
  to January 1. Kwanzaa highlights seven traditional principles\; umoja (u
 nity)\, kujichagulia (self-determination)\, ujima (collective work and re
 sponsibility)\, ujamaa (cooperative economics)\, nia (purpose)\, kuumba (
 creativity)\, and imani (faith)\, which parents may use to teach children
  positive community engagement.\n\nCulture Kingdom Kids? is an educationa
 l arts company that produces children's programs that celebrate African-A
 merican culture and history.  Jessica Smith is the creative director for
