 ul Robeson in a special performance of "Paul Robeson\," a play by Philip 
 Hayes Dean. This benefit for the Alexandria Black History Museum will be 
 held at the Carlyle Club\, 411 John Carlyle Street\, stars actor Hugh Sta
 ples\, and is directed by Cody Jones. Hugh Staples brings to life the str
 uggles and career of one of America's most brilliant but misunderstood he
 roes\, Paul Robeson. Dinner will be served beginning at 5 p.m. The 90-min
 ute performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion 
 with the lead actor. Advance ticketing is required. Dinner and play ticke
 t is $65 per person or $30 for the play only with limited seating in the
