 however pre-registration is required. Participants are encouraged to atte
 nd as many as they can. Light refreshments will be available. This progra
 m is designed for adults\, though high school students are welcome to att
 end with an adult. This series is a project of City Lore in collaboration
  with the Immigration and Ethnic History Society and the International Co
 alition of Sites of Conscience. Becoming American has been made possible 
 by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Sessions
