 a\, Leigh is one of the leading young vocalists in Southwest Virginia and
  a skilled interpreter of the old-time music of Appalachia. As a teenager
 \, Leigh was introduced to Appalachian music by local musician\, Sam Glea
 ves\, and over the years took up playing the clawhammer banjo and the fid
 dle. Currently\, Leigh is a senior at the University of Mary Washington i
 n Fredericksburg\, Virginia\, where she longs to get back to the mountain
