  to produce a Special Event in the City of Alexandria. Topics will cover h
 ow to apply for a Special Event Permit\, other types of permits you may ne
 ed to file for an event\, when you should apply for permits\, and event co
 sts. Staff from the Department of Recreation\, Parks and Cultural Activiti
 es\; the Department of Code Administration\; and the Alexandria Health Dep
 artment will explain how to apply for a special event permit\, other types
  of permits required for an event\, when to apply for permits\, and event 
 fees. \n\nThe workshops are free\, but space is limited. Those wishing to 
 attend are encouraged to reserve tickets online. Drop-in attendees without
