Hammond Middle School (4646 Seminary Road). Parking will be available. Flu shots will be available provided at no cost \, and proof of residency or insurance will not be required. The clinic wi ll be open to adults and children ages 6 months and older. The Alexandria Health Department encourages all members of the community to get a flu vac cine.\n\nThe higher dose version of the flu shot for seniors will not be a vailable at the clinic\, but may be available through a pharmacy or health care provider. Each participant must wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times and maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others\, excep t when necessary for flu shot clinic operations. This free living-history program is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will appeal to Civil War enthusiasts of all ages. The event is weather-dependent.\nThe pr ogram features reenactors from the 1st Connecticut Heavy Artillery\, a Uni on regiment that was stationed at Fort Ward during the Civil War. The un it will interpret the duties and soldier life of typical artillerymen assi gned to forts in the Washington area.
