 irl Scouts will explore media and its impact in their life. A Museum Educa
 tor will keep the girls engaged as they explore media through museum colle
 ctions\, conduct a survey and analyze results\, and learn how to storyboar
 d and film a media creation of their own. Cost includes personalized feedb
 ack on each girl's project and additional assistance as needed to ensure s
 uccess. Girl Scout Troops are welcome\, but girls must register individual

 screening of The American L.O.W.S. (The American Legacy of White Supremacy
 )\, a documentary created by Darnley R. Hodge\, Jr. on Saturday\, January 
 23\, 2021 at 2 p.m. Immediately following the film screening is a panel di
 scussion with filmmaker Darnley R. Hodge Jr. and historians from the film.
  The panel will be moderated by Reverend Professor Quardricos Driskell. Mr
 . Driskell is pastor of historic Beulah Baptist Church in Alexandria\, Vir
 ginia\, an adjunct professor of Religion and Politics at the George Washin
 gton University Graduate School of Political Management\, and a member of 
 the Alexandria Community Remembrance Project Steering Committee. The panel
  will also include Jacqueline Battalora\, author of Birth of a White Natio
 n: The Invention of White People and Its Relevance Today\, and Jon West-Be
 y\, museum curator and consultant. This film screening is sponsored by the
  Alexandria Community Remembrance Project\, a city-wide initiative dedicat
 ed to helping Alexandria understand its history of racial terror hate crim
 es and to work toward creating a welcoming community bound by equity and i
