 arket is an annual signature event that transforms the Carlyle District in
 to a lively European Festival similar to the famous Christmas Markets taki
 ng place in Germany or France. While shopping for unique art and craft ite
 ms for your loved ones\, enjoy live entertainment\, traditional European f
 ood and sweets\, hot wine\, and hot cocoa.  Children's Corner is open Satu
 rday and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.  The event also features the Holiday Sha
 ring - Toy Drive program to support families in need through Volunteer Ale
 xandria in partnership with the Department of Community and Human Services
 .  Additionally\, the event supports the Hunger Free Alexandria initiative
  by asking companies to get involved through volunteering and donating foo
