  Gadsby's Restaurant\, with President and Mrs. Madison as well as members 
 of his cabinet.  Then move to the historic ballroom of Gadsby's Tavern Mus
 eum for a festive evening of period dancing.  Black tie or 1815 attire enc
 ouraged. \n\n In preparation for the ball\, period dance classes will be o
 ffered at Gadsby's Tavern Museum from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays\, Oct
