Whitacre will discuss the monumental task by Alexandria Archaeology volunteers of transcribing m ore than 1\,800 pages of the abolitionist's diaries\, the compelling stori es of 19th century Alexandria that were revealed\, and how she based her b iography of Wilbur on the diaries and other primary sources.
