 nd churches\, this one-day conference will provide updates on African Amer
 ican historic sites in the state\, provide networking opportunities\, and 
 offer practical information on advocacy\, documentation and funding to hel
 p build capacity and strengthen organizations preserving African American 
 historic sites in the state.\n \nRepresentatives from the Alexandria Black
  History Museum\, the City of Alexandria Planning and Archaeology Departme
 nts\, the National Park Service\, the National Trust for Historic Preserva
 tion\, the Sacred Ground Historical Reclamation Project at Shockoe Bottom 
 in Richmond\, Evergreen and East End Cemeteries in Richmond\, the Scrabble
  School in Rappahannock County\, the University of Mary Washington and the
  Virginia Department of Historic Resources will be speaking.  \n \nBrent L
