 ke will discuss her work which includes the two relief panels honoring tho
 se buried at the Alexandria's Contrabands and Freedmen Cemetery Memorial a
 nd an eight by ten foot bronze sculpture commemorating the two-hundredth a
 nniversary of the Battle of Bladensburg in the War of 1812. Her design for
  the Virginia Women's Monument in Richmond was selected as a semifinalist 
 in a competition to commemorate the struggles and accomplishments of Virgi
