T he final report will be posted online in the coming weeks.\n\nThe Freedom House Museum\, located at 1315 Duke Street\, occupies part of a historic c omplex once used for trafficking thousands of Black men\, women\, and chil dren from 1828 to 1861. Operated in partnership with the Urban League of N orthern Virginia\, the Office of Historic Alexandria began assisting with museum operations in February 2018\, eventually purchasing the building in 2020. After reopening in May 2022 with three floors of temporary exhibits \, the next step involved crafting a Comprehensive Plan.\n\nThe Office of Historic Alexandria\, in close collaboration with the community and stakeh olders\, has embarked on the development of this Comprehensive Plan.
