 8\, youth in Alexandria will be empowered to take action against tobacco u
 se through an annual day of activism known as Take Down Tobacco National D
 ay of Action (formerly Kick Butts Day)\, introduced by the Campaign for To
 bacco-Free Kids. Each year\, more than 2\,000 events are held around the c
 ountry mobilizing youth to raise awareness about the problems of tobacco u
 se in schools and the community. Take Down Tobacco National Day of Action 
 will engage Alexandria youth in ensuring that tobacco vendors are training
