    Enforcement of snow emergency routes (which began at 7 a.m. on March 5) will end at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 6.  City offices and facilities will open on a two-hour delay on Friday. The Alexandria Circuit Court, Alexandria General District Court, and Alexandria Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court will be closed on Friday.

    The Apothecary Museum
    What do super heroes, crazy animals, and explosions have in common? A mad scientist probably made them! Come to the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum to explore where real science and mad science collide. Tours feature historic medicines with surprising side effects. Upstairs, meet the Museum's very own mad scientist bringing to life some crazy concoctions and the science behind them. Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups welcome (program completes the Brownie Home Scientist badge), though are limited to max of 16 people including adults per tour. Tour is approximately 45 minutes long. Reservations recommended and can be made through the Museum's online store at the Event Link below.
