Alexandria Library will commemorate National Missing Children's Day with a special event encouraging parents to take 25 minutes to talk with their children about safety and abduction prevention.

Event Details:Alexandria Library will be partnering with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Friday, May 25th to commemorate National Missing Children's Day. Join us at the Beatley Central Branch at 5005 Duke Street, as we encourage parents to take 25 minutes to talk about safety and abduction prevention with their children. A Child ID event, presentations and children's activities will be held. Special guests include Mayor Bill Euille, the Alexandria Police Department, and Department dogs, Sherman and G'Kar.
