Special Event Application Workshops
This workshop is for event organizers who would like to know how to apply for and obtain permits to produce a Special Event in the City of Alexandria. Topics will cover how to apply for a Special Event Permit, other types of permits you may need to file for an event, when you should apply for permits, and event costs. Staff from the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities; the Department of Code Administration; and the Alexandria Health Department will explain how to apply for a special event permit, other types of permits required for an event, when to apply for permits, and event fees.
The workshops are free, but space is limited. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to reserve tickets online. Drop-in attendees without tickets will be accepted as space allows.
